resume regular operations.Stennis is scheduled to complete its RCOH in Virginia and rejoin the fleet as the third East Coast carrier pier-side.Following Stennis and Ford, Ike and Truman are slated for maintenance periods of their own – further limiting the Navy’s deployed carrier options.On the other side of the world, the carrier Abraham Lincoln was also taking a breather before its own narrow maintenance period in order to arrive in the Indo-Pacific region around the time that Ike left the Middle East.The Navy plans to have Ike back home in Norfolk within a couple of weeks and available for operational tasking after a post-deployment maintenance period ends with homecoming events in early July.
