In response to a potential International Criminal Court (ICC) arrest warrant, Netanyahu stated that no decision would deter Israel from reaching its objectives. The New York Times reported that Israeli officials believe Netanyahu could be charged by the court, with charges also being considered against Hamas leaders.
Netanyahu warned that the ICC’s actions could threaten Israel’s ability to defend itself and called on the leaders of the free world to condemn the potential charges. Meanwhile, the United States has expressed opposition to the ICC’s investigation.
