An upcoming wargame at U.S. Indo-Pacific Command will test zero-trust, the network-security approach the Pentagon is advocating, which is projected to be used in the Mission Partner Environment to allow U.S. service branches and regional partners to share data without accessing unrelated classified files. The multinational mission force network at INDOPACOM has gone 100% zero-trust. Exercise Keen Edge in early 2024 will test the implementation of zero-trust and its impact on real-time information sharing and security. The Navy hopes partners will adopt zero-trust more fully into their own security frameworks. The Pentagon has been working with coalition partners to build zero-trust solutions that are effective for the military. Security Interoperability in the Tactical Environment summits have been established to ensure interoperability with coalition partners at a tactical level.
