Lebanon’s army responded to Israeli fire for the first time in nearly a year on Thursday, leading to the death of a soldier in the Bint Jbeil area. This marked the third killing of a Lebanese soldier since the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah escalated on September 23. The army had previously reported one soldier killed and another wounded during an Israeli aggression during a rescue operation in Taybeh village. Additionally, Hezbollah claimed to have repelled multiple Israeli attempts to infiltrate Lebanese territory, launching rockets and setting off explosive devices in response to Israeli actions. One Lebanese soldier was also killed in an Israeli strike in the Wazzani area on Monday.
