I struggle with goodbyes

This is the last week at Defense One for the Trusty Correspondent of military spending for the past 18 years. He will soon take an exciting opportunity outside of journalism. He developed trust with military sources and presented unbiased, accurate information throughout his time. Defense One gave him free rein to write on any topic, and they trusted him with weekly newsletters. He reflected on his experiences, covered highlights of his notable stories, and expressed his gratitude. He thanked his colleagues, founder of Defense One, and other behind-the-scenes staff, and reporters. He leaves Defense One in good hands, and is thankful for the experience of being a journalist.
