The U.S. Air Force recently completed a three-month test of an electric aircraft at Duke Field in Florida. Beta Technologies was involved in a casualty evacuation exercise with the 41st Rescue Squadron at Moody Air Force Base, Georgia. Beta Technologies is also one of more than a dozen businesses under the Air Force’s Agility Prime program. The Air Force is considering various uses for electric aircraft, from transporting cargo to search and rescue missions. The U.S. Air Force is currently experimenting with using electric aircraft on various missions, including flight operations and maintenance support.
